Hi, Belmont Book Buddies! This is Mrs. Falcinelli, the queen of Team Falcinelli. My hobbies include reading, traveling, cooking, and enjoying bananas and an occasional piece of dark chocolate. Ü My favorite genre is realistic fiction. I love stories that touch my heart and are so realistic that I find myself falling in love with characters and animals that never really lived! My team LOVES Wonder. Besides R.J. Palacio, my favorite fourth grade authors also include Peg Kehret, Louis Sachar, and Sharon Draper. I also just discovered Liesl Shutliff, the author of Rump. I am on the lookout for a new GREAT read aloud. It would be fun if both of our classes could read the same book and make predictions together. I cannot wait to hear your suggestions. Write on!
ReplyDeleteHi Parkside Book Buddies! My name is Ms. Humphreys and I'm super excited to meet all of you! I did meet one of your classmates at the Greater Grand Rapids Spelling Bee where she impressed me! Like Mrs. Falcinelli, I love realistic fiction although I am learning to love fantasy books since so many of my fourth graders are reading them and convincing me to read them as well. Our class is currently reading The Julian Chapter and we are loving the whole book. My favorite authors include Ann M. Martin, Gordon Korman and of course Beverly Cleary. My family used to call me Ramona because they said I looked and acted like her when I was a kid. Mrs. Falcinelli told me about Rump and I loved that book as well. I just finished reading Chasing Vermeer which had a ton of puzzles in it that I just loved. Can't wait to learn about you!

I really like tacos because I believe that their spicy meat( don't forget the cheese) is a great combination with a shell. my fav. animal......... I will have to say my top 3. 1. Bison 2. Goat 3. I love the book the one and only ivan because its very sad. My favorite author is... ill have to go with Kate decomillo. why well first I love her foreshadowing and one of my special memories about her is when I was in 1rst grade I remember how we always would run to the watsons boks and fight about who got it first XD but Edward Tulane series was awesome and very sad. But that's all I can say right now I cant wait to talk about the book groups :D bye!

My favorite author is Dr sues and my favorite book is the iron trial my best friend Hunter told me about the book and I realy liked the cover and so he let me read part of it and I new that it was a good book right from when I read the first page.

I have two favorite books and they are electric dogs and stone fox. I have so many authors I love that I can pick one! I have many pets, including a big husky lab mix puppy, a fat bunny, a cute guinea pig, a fast bearded dragon and my formerly stray cat who loves to read and cuddle up with me! (I am by far her favorite!) My favorite genre of book is fantasy, for sure! Some of my favorite authors are JK Rowling, Rick Riordan, Erin Hunter and Jessica Day George, however if they can write a book and open their imagination I love them for life! My hobbies include running around OUTSIDE, writing, reading A LOT, jumping rope, playing ball, archery, and gardening(I love eating the fresh vegetables and picking the lovely flowers). My favorite book is Tuesdays in the Castle (It was hard to pick one book because I have so many favorites including Junonia). My favorite author is Cornelia Funke (It was hard to choose because I have read so many amazing books by so many amazing great authors that I just chose the one that I have many favorite books by).
